I few weeks ago, I decided to enter Abduzeedos’ Designious Vector Mega Packs Giveaway Contest! You had to submit pieces that were black and white and using vectors. I decided to take my older pieces “Ms. Fresh” and “Beat is Bumping” and turn them black and white. And I won a free vector mega pack from Designious. The results were here. I was looking at PSDTUTS and saw an article about dynamic smoke and found some of my work there as inspiration. So thanks to Steven Snell for putting it together and featuring “Vibrant Smoke” and “Dissolve” in 20+ Sources of Dynamic Smoke Inspiration!

I haven’t really been creating anything new lately. I’ve been busy doing holiday stuff, finished a semester at LCC, partying and getting crunk. But there are a few things that has been published. First off…

I have collaborated with Andrew at My Ink Blog to create a series called “Creative Fliers Inspiration”. He has just finished putting it all together. I have found many fliers representing different genres and sent it to him were he helped put it together and organized it for his blog. I wanted to make this because it is inspiration for the people and me to look to understand how typography can be used in various ways and how important theme is to communicate to your target audience. I wasn’t really good in Spanish in high school, so I asked the creator to translate it lol.
“Esthetic Core is the online portfolio of Christopher Tarampi. With only 17 years old, this guy from Hawai pretend to join art school. In the meantime he creates his digital art, following some web tutotials and a lot of talent with Photoshop and Illustrator.”
I don’t know why i says “pretend to join art school” LOL. But I’m applying for Academy of Art University in San Fransisco for Fall 2009 just to clear things up ;D

Its been a while since I have created anything new. I haven’t created any personal work or any fliers lately. I actually have been busy trying to concentrate in school. I am currently just focusing in school and hustling me some good grades lol and then transfer to the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco to major in Graphic Design soon.

I although have just created a CD Cover for 100 Akres for their song “Pink Cadillac”, be sure to look for that on iTunes:
