Been awhile since I’ve updated the site! Anyway, I’ve updated my showcase here and there. Added a few fliers and 2 new pieces “Senses Heightened” and “Change the Scope”. The “Senses Heightened” piece is abstract and has tons of details. I’ve spent a load of time on that one. The other piece I added is “Change the Scope”, which is totally opposite of “Senses Heightened”. It is simple and clean and has a message.

I’ve also uploaded some more of my other art work and experiments in my Flickr photostream, so you can check that out too.

I have uploaded 6 selected designs in the showcase: 2 typography posters “Eternity” and “Eternity II” which were done for a contest which reads, “What we do in life, echoes in eternity”; “Birth” which is a colorful eye created using blending modes; and 3 experimental abstract typography pieces “Dissolve”, “Core”, and “Esoteric.”

EVERYTHING A DESIGNER NEEDS

Hey folks,
While looking at various inspiration around the web, I have noticed a lot of effects around pictures of women. I’ve noticed myself doing it too, they make art cool haha. So I have decided to put a group together on Flickr with all the inspiration and art of designs with female models in it. If you’re a designer and haven’t checked it out yet, look and join the Aesthetic Girls group and help spread the word! Thanks.

To start off, I decided to take off the blog button on the navigation bar on the main site because I just changed my mind haha. I can’t really keep up updating the blog all the time, so instead, the blog will be used to notify you about updates if you want to stay tuned, like: new designs, new projects, site changes, updates on the site etc… And following that, I changed the navigation look to match the font on the logo and headers.

Oh, and if you want to be notified of updates from this blog, you can click on the RSS up on the navigation above.

Phewww!!! I finally finished the site with the design aspect. It took a long ass time because of all the editing and problems I’ve noticed when viewing the site on different web browsers. But I tested various things out, and the site should load up properly on your computer. Im very knew to coding sites, so the layout is not that complex, but pretty straight forward and simple. Hopefully when I have enough money, Ill hire a web designer, or hope at lest my skills get better. But my showcase is all that matters. Okay Ill stop with the excuses now lol.
I will be uploading some designs to the showcase every now and then. I wont be uploading everything I do on here, so you can check my Flickr for my daily designs and practice. My showcase is to show my skills and selected work. And yeah, I know blogging is kinda lame, but Im changing my ways lol, its kinda fun to write in a way. So I will treat this as my main blog for my randomness, thoughts, whats on my mind, music, design, the list goes on… as time goes on. I heard its healthy to let your mind free…. So tell me what you guys think of my site! Id like to hear THANKS!
